Have you explored the Rubric feature in Google Classroom?

We must admit, when this feature came out we didn't utilise it straight away. Now we have used it with our students we see the many advantages it has!

Rubrics are a way to share marking criteria with your class. Students can also see the rubric when you create an assignment using the feature. This allows them the opportunity to see clearly what you are looking for in a piece of work. When you use the rubric for marking, whichever criteria you have highlighted will be visible by the students. Students can then use this to reflect on their own learning and set their targets. Rubrics can be reused across your classes and assignments and exported to Sheets.

Tomorrow we'll share a 'how to' video for getting started with rubrics!
